TOUR OF THE CHARTERHOUSE- Meet 9:30 at Sutton Station to catch the 9:46 train to Farringdon. NOW FULLY BOOKED

We will have a coffee stop at Wetherspoons before heading for the Charterhouse. The museum is open for us before our  Brothers Tour at 11.45. The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes at a cost of £18 per person. Payment to be guaranteed when booking and paid in cash on the day. Lunch will be at Wetherspoons.

Built in 1371 this ex-plague pit became a monastery, mansion and almshouse. It became a museum in 2017.  There is also a  chapel with free entry. Please book after 1st October.

FRIDAY DECEMBER 18TH XMAS WALK & MEAL

It would be helpful if you indicated your interest from now but your booking will not be finalised unless you give me your menu choices by 6pm on Monday December 7th
(menus  for both the three course Xmas dinner and the main menu to appear on their website in November, choose from either but no mix and matching)  The walk will be as last year: 420 bus from Sutton, alight Tadworth Station Approach bus stop c.1015 and short walk ahead to the cafe on High Street where we will pause for coffee etc. till about 1050.
 
I will deal with bookings and menu choices but the above deadline is important (no deposit required) or else you won’t be there! Bring a friend or partner! Note that you can meet us in the bus, (Sue & I  will board at Downs Road) or the cafe or the pub for 1215. Walk is 2.5 miles there and 2 back by the shortest route.

TOUR WITH THE LINNEAN SOCIETY OF LONDON - Meet Sutton Station at 9.30am to catch the 9.42am train to Victoria. 

We will have a coffee stop at Wetherspoons before heading for our tour which begins at 11.30am.  The tour will last approximately 90 minutes at a cost of £15 per person. Lunch TBA.

The Society is devoted to biology and natural history. The tour will include a visit to the Society's bombproof collections store, where the priceless book, archive and biological specimen collections of the Swedish naturalist Carl Linnaeus are housed in environmentally-controlled conditions. Please book after 22nd February 2027.

PEWTERERS' GUILD HALL - Meet Sutton Station at 9.30 to catch the 9.43 train to Thameslink.

Our tour begins at 11am with tea, coffee and biscuits. The tour is roughly 90 minutes at a cost of £15 per person. On completion we will receive a City of London Beadles Guild Map. Lunch will be at Cafe 101. Please book after 8th March 2027.
